I began my publishing career with a brief foray into medical books (!) before I found my niche in ELT. I work for a large publishing house and thus work on whatever materials come my way, but I have also been known to content edit PhD theses, articles for journal publication, and a variety of pet projects for friends.
As an ELT editor, my main interests are teaching teenagers, learners with Special Educational Needs, and 21st-century skills.
I love working with words: I edit, write and translate. If this blog isn’t enough for you (or you fancy something different), check out some of my blog posts on Russian here.
One of the best translation projects I’ve ever worked on is the Survivor Mitzvah Project, a charity that helps deliver aid to Holocaust survivors in Central and Eastern Europe.
If you know of any other ways in which I could use my languages, then please get in touch – I’d love to hear from you!
